The MCZ Group Funeral Scheme (GFS) was started in January 2011. The scheme was meant for
MCZ employees only. However at the 2012 annual conference it was agreed to accommodate
MCZ Church members. Hence this resulted in the formation of the MCZ-GBS which was
launched at the 2013 annual Conference. Approved Funeral Homes were contracted to carry
out all funeral services.

5. SCHEME BENEFITS
The scheme covers the member, spouse, children and two dependants of your choice and the
following services are rendered:
Supply of a coffin/polished casket
Use of Chapel (where applicable)
Use of mortuary (where applicable)
Washing & dressing of the deceased
Removal of the deceased from the local hospital/ local Residence
Transport of the deceased .
Supply of a grave mat, tent & coffin lowering device
